Blockchain has gained significant popularity and has the potential to disrupt existing technology. It is expected to facilitate technology-based business innovation. Although blockchain has its own specific applicability and lacks technological maturity, experimental adoption is continuously growing and many adaptation projects are underway. The adoption of blockchain technology is increasing and use cases span almost the entire sector to provide end-to-end solutions for the digital transfer of any valuable entity or asset. Blockchain has exciting features such as security, decentralized network, transparency, and immutability that can facilitate the creation of secure and reliable cyber-physical systems. Because individual use cases have different requirements, the scalability, cost-effectiveness and efficiency issues of blockchain-based systems raise concerns about its applicability. We considered ABC Pvt. Ltd. use of the supply chain. The total cost of ownership of blockchain systems is significantly high, so the assessment of feasibility for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) such as ABC Pvt. Ltd. need to assess the suitability of blockchain for SMEs. To solve the above problem, work on trust-based blockchain records has been carried out to improve the supply chain process with the aim of designing a suitable framework for SMEs in terms of cost, development time, performance and data manipulation traceability and minimal changes in the existing system. |
