Error- Unabel to find the version of runtime to run this application

Hi, I had developed a Vb.net project, deploy it and then instal
led in xp. it was running proper for some time but now the Erro
r - "Unable to find the version of runtime to run this applicat
ion" comes when i run this application.
I had reinstall the application and also .net framework. but ag
ain it gives same error.
I can't understand why is it.
If anyone know about this, please give me suggestion as early a
s posible.....

if its a windows based application then u should install vs 6.0
(vb 6.0) and try to run ur application.
