What is befecial putting the rpt file in the code itself or placing it outside?

can u describe it in details, u mean to say creating crystal re
port in .NET IDE itself or creating report file seperate
in crystal report software and then link to .NET.
If you creating report file sepearate then this fil ecan edit o
utside the IDE, and can be use any other application.
Howerver if you create the rpt file in .NET IDE it is easy to m
aintain and it become a part of solution.
